Sonny Nguyen, a Vietnamese American attorney in Federal Way, Washington, shares his personal adventure as a first-generation immigrant and his commitment to searching for justice for his community. Sonny Nguyen is a Vietnamese American, the first technology of South Vietnamese immigrants within the United States. His father, Thu-Ba Nguyen, was one of the early refugees referred to as boat people, who served and was loyal to South Vietnam. After many years of political imprisonment, Thu-Ba took his -year-antique son and fled from their liked native land. Sonny is bilingual, he speaks and writes Vietnamese and English fluently. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2015 and continued to Willamette University where he acquired his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) with Mediation and Arbitration. Growing up in Seattle, Sonny has a robust desire to suggest for justice and protect the people of his network. As a Vietnamese refugee, he witnessed the injustices of humanity and understood the struggles and losses that not many can. His tremendous private experiences, knowledge of the regulation, compassion for clients, and constant pursuit of justice have helped him reap great consequences. Sonny enjoys making a song within the choir for the Vietnamese Parish Church with his spouse and cooking at the weekends. Sonny is a pupil of Buddha, Confucius, and Jesus, focusing on the first-class version of himself each and every day.
