Robert C. Slaughter III is a seasoned trial attorney with over 4 decades of experience within the legal subject. His knowledge spans non-public injury law, civil regulation, and criminal trial practice. Beginning his prison career in 1979 as a prosecutor in Norfolk, Virginia, Mr. Slaughter quick rose through the ranks to grow to be the Chief Deputy before transitioning to non-public practice in North Carolina in 1989. After 15 years of a success trial paintings in private practice, he again to the Norfolk Commonwealth's Lawyer's office in 2004, in the end serving as the intervening time Commonwealth's Lawyer.

Outside of his prison and military carrier, Robert Slaughter III is actively worried in charitable paintings. He and his wife, married for 41 years, have one daughter. He is a member of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church and has participated in quick-term missionary work in Rwanda. Additionally, he serves on the board of administrators of the Haitian American Friendship Foundation and the Park Place School in Norfolk, among others.
