About
I am a business and contracts attorney primarily based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, focusing on transactional law, municipal procurement, and regulatory compliance.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating cum laude with departmental honors in each areas. My capstone project tested the intersection of city development and housing coverage, which set the inspiration for my career in making use of law thoughtfully to both public and private sector needs. I went directly to acquire my J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, in which I was offered the Dean’s Scholarship and participated in the Litigation Clinic and Trial Practice Lab. During law faculty, I worked as a studies assistant to Professor Brenda Gibson, contributing to scholarship on implicit bias and cognition in criminal education.
After finishing regulation school, I litigated civil rights and constitutional cases throughout Pennsylvania as a Martin Luther King Jr. Legal Fellow with the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project. I later transitioned to public service as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Pittsburgh. In that role, I negotiated contracts of various scales, recommended departments on procurement and compliance subjects, and drafted a extensive range of public carrier agreements.
Currently, I enjoy running with small businesses and creatives to build long lasting criminal frameworks that help growth and responsibility. I consider that powerful lawyering begins with clarity, collaboration, and strategic foresight.
Outside of my legal exercise, I am a published creator and the founder and operator of a multidisciplinary art studio.
I am certified to practice law inside the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
