Rachel Marie Cane, a lawyer based totally in Durham, North Carolina, stocks her adventure from social paintings to regulation faculty and her ardour for helping those in want. While growing up inside the small township of Redford, Michigan, Rachel Marie Cane developed aspirations to end up someone who allows those in want. She selected to pursue a social work degree from Eastern Michigan University, which is while she first became inquisitive about the law and our justice system. Her training and enjoy in social work taught her that the regulation is a device that can be used to effectuate change and help folks who need help the most. After completing her social paintings degree, Rachel relocated to North Carolina to attend regulation faculty at North Carolina Central University. She was interested in NCCU School of Law because of the parallels among her social paintings heritage and the regulation faculty’s motto of reality and carrier. While in regulation faculty, she focused on civil litigation and interned with Disability Rights North Carolina, an company that advocates for those residing with disabilities. Rachel also had the possibility to take part in the Civil Litigation Clinic and work with Judge Lucy Inman at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys travelling, visiting with own family and buddies, testing out the modern Pinterest recipes, and trying out new fitness lessons.
