About
During my first yr of law faculty, I competed inside the Parham Williams Trial Competition and located inside the pinnacle 8 teams out of 30. This became my first experience in a court and marked the beginning of my passion for litigating and advocating for clients. To further increase my skills, I took numerous advocacy-centered training at Cumberland, aiming to understand what it takes to succeed as a trial attorney. After my 2d yr, I made one of my maximum rewarding decisions by using joining Cumberland’s National Trial Team. While it’s uncommon to join as a third-12 months scholar, I embraced the task within the fall of 2024 and quickly located myself competing in two of the country’s most traumatic, invite-most effective competitions: Drexel’s Battle of the Experts in Philadelphia and the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles. My team have become finalists at the Battle in Philadelphia and earned the Professionalism Award at NCTC in Los Angeles.
In the subsequent semester, I won the 2025 American Association of Justice Regional Championship in Chicago and concluded my trial group journey as a quarterfinalist on the American Association of Justice National Competition in Atlanta.
Beyond the trial crew, I was a more than one-time Dean’s List honoree and actively participated in Cumberland’s intramural sports activities teams. After graduating, I joined Hollis Wright without delay from regulation faculty and feature devoted my profession to representing injured victims.
When I’m now not practicing regulation, I experience searching, fishing, gambling golf, and spending time with my circle of relatives. One of my favorite pursuits is taking my chocolate Labrador retriever, Lyla, out at the river.
